Document link URL validator is too strict

I tried to send a onedrive link as an attachment to a Flex message
The URL when I manually copied it contains colons in the Path, and we're rejecting it.
xbim.sharepoint.com/:f:/s/Models/REDACTEDREDACTEDREDACTEDq14QxZcl923mK_g?e=eN2rfI
When I tried to link using the new OneDrive feature it also failed (possibly the same issue?)
