Revit: Cannot write a null value for property 'subject'

I followed the step by step guide to create a message. When I pressed send message I was asked to log in or register. I registered for a brand new account with a brand new email. I got the attached message.

This is the same issue in 2019 and 2020. For info I was running Revit using the command line script that sets them up to run in the development environment/server for both versions.
